Piper longum (Pippali): 0.12 gm And other ingredients.

✔️ Indications:

This Ayurvedic medicine is primarily a combination of Phyllanthus emblica & Piper longum. Traditionally used to treat indigestion, hyperacidity, and gastrointestinal disorders.

✔️ Pharmacology:

Phyllanthus emblica

Active Constituents: Phyllantidine, tannins, phylogenic acid, gallic acid, ellagic acid, and a large amount of vitamin C.
Actions: Antacid, stomachic, carminative, and antioxidant properties due to gallic acid. Used in hyperacidity, anorexia, dyspepsia, jaundice, flatulence, and gastrointestinal disorders.

Piper longum

Active Constituents: Piperine, Piplartine, Piperlonguminine, sesamine volatile oil, etc.
Actions: Carminative, digestive, strengthen the muscular system, and nervine tonic. Used in anemia, ascites, hemorrhoids, colic, and splenic disorders.

Adult: 2-4 teaspoonfuls 2-3 times daily after meals.
