✔️ Dosage & Administration of Ulfix Sugar Free Oral Suspension

For Duodenal ulcer, Gastric ulcer, and Chronic gastritis:

Adults:

• 2 g twice daily (morning and bedtime) OR
• 1 g four times daily (1 hour before meals and at bedtime)

Maximum daily dose: 8 g

Treatment may last up to 12 weeks in resistant cases.

Pediatric Use:

• Not recommended for children under 14 years due to a lack of safety data.

Elderly Patients:

• No specific dosage adjustments are required, but the lowest effective dose should be used.

For Prophylaxis of Stress Ulceration (Gastrointestinal Hemorrhage):

Adults: 1 g orally or via a nasogastric tube 4 to 6 times daily.

• If administered through a nasogastric tube, flush with 10 ml water after each dose to prevent clogging.
