✔️ Overdose Management

In case of overdose, continuous heart monitoring (QT interval and cardiac rhythm) for at least 24 hours is advised.
Standard measures should be taken to remove unabsorbed drugs.
Hemodialysis does not significantly improve drug clearance.

Adults & children over 12 years: One 10 mg tablet per day.
Children under 12 years: Not recommended.

✔️ Interaction

Ketoconazole, Erythromycin, and Amiodarone can increase the plasma concentration of Mastel possibly leading to arrhythmia risk.
Use caution when combining with Ciclosporin or other CYP450 3A4 enzyme inhibitors.
Alcohol does not appear to enhance sedation or impair performance when taken with Mastel.

✔️ Mizolastine should not be used in individuals who:

Have serious heart disease or a history of arrhythmia
Have QT prolongation or electrolyte imbalances (especially low potassium)
Experience bradycardia (slow heart rate)
Have liver dysfunction
Take medications that slow its metabolism
Are allergic to Mizolastine

Common: Dry mouth, nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, dizziness, drowsiness, headache
