• Type 2 diabetes mellitus

✔️ Dosage & Administration of Immediate-Release Tablets

• Maximum dose: 2.5 mg Linagliptin + 1000 mg Metformin twice daily with meals.
• Initial dose for new patients: 2.5 mg Linagliptin + 500 mg Metformin twice daily.
• Patients already on Metformin: Start with 2.5 mg Linagliptin + current Metformin dose twice daily.
• Patients switching from separate Linagliptin and Metformin: May transition to an equivalent fixed-dose combination.

• Maximum daily dose: Linagliptin 5 mg + Metformin 2000 mg once daily with a meal.

✔️ Overdose Management

• Supportive care including GI decontamination and monitoring is recommended.
