✔️ Dosage & Administration:

Dosage depends on individual blood sugar levels. The lowest effective dose should be used. Blood and urine glucose levels should be monitored regularly to adjust the dosage.

Initial Dose & Titration:

• Start with 1 mg once daily.
• If necessary, increase gradually at 1-2 week intervals as follows:
  1 mg → 2 mg → 3 mg → 4 mg → 6 mg.

Maintenance Dose:

• Most patients with well-controlled diabetes require 1-4 mg daily.

Dose Timing:

• Usually taken once daily before a substantial breakfast or the first main meal.
• Skipping meals after taking Glimirid may lead to hypoglycemia.

Secondary Dosage Adjustment:
